We are surrounded by a lot of people everyday, who claim to be our friend. You spend a lot of time with them, thinking of them as friends. But, when it comes to help or advice they all seem to disappear, and leaving you with a thousand made up excuses. You feel deceived and have no idea what to do. Maybe they weren't a friend after all. A true friend is there for you no matter what. In good times and bad. A true friend will listen to you without judging you. Someone that will listen to you, and give you advice. You share your most inner thoughts with them, tell them things that you wouldn't tell anyone else. Friends are there to have fun with, and relax with. They show you respect, and not critize. They are a treasure, and should never be lost. A true friend is one who knows you inside and out, but loves us anyway. A friend is a single soul dwelling in two bodies. A faithful friend is the medicine of life. They make you feel good everyday. Some will come into our lives and go quickly, some will stay for awhile, and leave footprints on our hearts. And we will never, ever be the same. The only way to have a friend, is to be one. Who can tell when that special bond is formed. It is like a cup or a glass filling up drop by drop, and then the last drop runs over, so the kindness is there at the last drop, which makes the heart run over.
